Kremlin increases price for Russian soldier's life

The Russian authorities are trying to encourage citizens to join the military, raising the wages of those fighting in Ukraine to a level up to 8 times the average wage in the Russian Federation. This is to compensate for the death or disability that ill-trained volunteers will most likely await.
