The head of the MON took part present in the celebration of the National independency Day at the 5th Military Clinical infirmary in Krakow, combined with a presentation of a modern tomograph. “Thank you for developing this centre, both in terms of infrastructure and in search of the most modern solutions in medicine”, said Władysław Kosiniak-Kamysz.
5 Military Clinical infirmary with Polyclinic OPOZ in Kraków is 1 of the oldest institutions of the Polish Army, operating since its establishment in the same place. It opened in November 1918 after taking over the facility from the Austrians. present the services of the infirmary are utilized by patients from all over the country, and its authorities are consistently implementing a plan to grow and transform it into a large, modern resort, which counts in the field of medicine and discipline in the country and abroad.
It was the 5th WSZK, as the second infirmary in Poland, that was equipped with funds from the National Recovery and Immunity Plan in the state-of-the-art tomograph, utilizing photon counting technology. This camera can be shown with maximum focus utilizing a lower dose of radiation, which means precise diagnosis and higher safety.
– We are already the day after the National independency Day, but I hope that this vacation temper will stay with us for longer, due to the fact that in fact it is simply a large holiday. The feast, which shows that it is not miracles, but wonderful things can happen – said Deputy Prime Minister Kosiniak-Kamish present in Krakow. After a solemn gathering with soldiers and infirmary staff, Deputy Prime Minister Kosiniak-Kamysz recalled the improvement of Polish armed forces in the direction of field medicine. Everyone can choose what they want to perfect. We besides re-create the tradition of pre-war schools, besides in Kraków. all student of a civilian university who decides to take this way will receive a scholarship of PLN 1000 per period for 3 years," said Władysław Kosiniak-Kamysz, and stressed that specified activities constitute an investment in the future and education and are a form of service to the country.
