Following the announcements of U.S. president Donald Trump, Greenland's formal membership of Denmark, respective European countries, including Sweden, Norway, Germany, the Netherlands, France and Finland, reported on Wednesday and Thursday that they would send their soldiers to the island (in various numbers, i.e. from 1 to respective officers) - they would take part in Operation Arctic Endurance exercises, which will last until Saturday. Prime Minister Donald Tusk declared on Thursday that Poland does not plan to send troops to Greenland.
