In the summertime of 2024 Romania signed [a contract with South Korean concern Hanwha Aerospace](https://defence24.pl/news/Romania-buys-haubice-k9) for transportation of 54 cannonohabic K9A1 and 36 K10 ammunition trucks. In addition to vehicles, Kal ammunition was obtained. 155 mm, spare barrels and logistics and training package for full amount [920 million USD](https://defence24.pl/power-arms/Romania-buy-Korean-artilleries). The acquisition by Romania of Korean artillery was linked to the transfer of technology to the local industry, which will be liable for the assembly of the ordered vehicles.
