South Korea orders another Chunmoo launchers

Information about the conclusion of the contract for the next K239 for South Korean land troops was given by, among others, DealSite and ArmyRecognition service. It is not known precisely how many Chunmoo systems and DAPA transport and loading trucks will be acquired under an agreement worth over USD 244 million. It is expected to be in force until the end of 2026 and will most likely let to replace the remains previously utilized by South Korea's multi-guided M136/M136A1 Kooryong Kal cartridges. 130/131 mm and possibly parts of M270/M270A1 caterpillar systems utilized in 58 units.
