Korea bets on dense helicopters

The US State Department has approved the anticipation of selling 18 CH-47F Chinook dense transport helicopters to the Republic of Korea with companion packages with a maximum value of up to $1.5bn. These will be the first Korean machines of this version, but not the first Chinooks.
