In 2018-2019, the D.A. received notifications from Austrian architect Gerald Birgfellner, a Kaczyński-related architect. He claimed that he had incurred the costs associated with the preparation of projects for the construction of 2 skyscrapers in Warsaw Wola, Silver Street, where the office building related to the Law and Justice of the Silver Company is located. The PiS chief changed his head and abandoned the thought of building skyscrapers and refused to pay the architect. Birgfellner recorded talks with PiS president. It was expected to consequence that the investment was halted for political reasons independent of Kaczyński, and the payment of the remuneration to the architect would be considered to have taken the money out of the company due to the fact that there was no formal contract for the architect's services. He was besides to advise Birgfellner to go to court.
Birgfellner felt that PiS president had utilized household ties to extort work worth over a million euros. He wanted that money back. 4 years ago, the DA refused to investigate.
