Consolidation of the drone manufacture in the USA. For over $4 billion

AeroVironment (AV) announced on 19 November 2024 a plan to take over BlueHalo, known for its drone swarm technology and counter drones. The task estimated at $4.1 billion is to be accomplished through the acquisition of shares (the AV shareholders will have about 60.5% of the merged company and the BlueHalo shareholders will have about 39.5%). As part of the merger of the 2 entities, it is planned to make an industrial group, aimed, among others, at producing unmanned systems, circular ammunition, anti-drone systems and electronic combat systems.
