The pro-Russian course of the Hungarian president was a problem for his political abroad friends (including PiS). Viktor Orbán's journey to Moscow and his gathering with Vladimir Putin brought the spell of bitterness. Karol Nawrocki stated that during his visit to Hungary, he was not going to meet Orbán.

The next Wednesday in Hungary, in Ostrzyhomie, will be the summit of the Presidents of the Visegrad Group (Poland, Czech Republic, Slovakia and Hungary). Karol Nawrocki is going to this meeting. On Thursday he was besides scheduled to make a formal visit to Budapest and talk to Viktor Orbán. It is already known that this last point of the programme will not come to pass.

Nawrocki changes the decision

It's up to Nawrocki himself and his office. The president "decided to cancel the meeting" – stated the head of the global Policy Office in the Chancellery of president Marcin Przycz on social media. Reason? It could not be clearer: in connection with "the visit to Moscow and its context made by the Prime Minister of Hungary".

This is the most crucial conviction of this communication, although covered in many another words, besides Orbán critics.

"President Karol Nawrocki consistently advocates seeking real ways to end the war in Ukraine caused by the Russian Federation. Referring in its policy to president Lech Kaczyński's legacy, which stressed that Europe's safety depends on solidarity, including in the field of energy, in connection with the visit to Moscow and its context by Prime Minister Viktor Orban, president Karol Nawrocki decided to limit his visit to Hungary only to the summit of the Visegrad Group presidents in Ostrzyhomi" – the full entry of the Entourager sounds.

Interestingly, Orbán first called the summit, claiming that he wants to "rebuild Polish-Hungarian cooperation". This was in September, the Hungarian president added at the time that the signal to reactivate this 1 was to be given by Karol Nawrocki.

He then played on respective another fronts: the culmination occurred on Friday erstwhile Orbán ostentatically flew to Moscow and met Vladimir Putin. Their talks were about Russian oil and gas supplies for Budapest and the war in Ukraine.

It wasn't Orbán's first weird action. Previously, against Europe's interests, he supported the celebrated 28-point U.S. peace plan. The same 1 that looked like it was translated from Russian.
