The announcement of the completion of the tests took place on 3 September and thus began the last consecutive to sign the executive agreement with the selected artillery maker by the Swiss Armed Forces. The tests of possible successors M109 KAWEST lasted 18 months (January 2023 - June 2024) and took place in and outside Switzerland. The Archer strategy was tested on the RMMV HX2 chassis and RCH 155 embedded on KTO Boxer, and extended Pirania V. Not only the performance of these structures was checked for compliance with the requirements of the Swiss Army, but besides with what the manufacturers declared. In addition, legal and economical issues related to inter alia the cost of surviving of vehicles have been examined.
