Great mobilisation of Poles, evidence attendance and yet a chance to live in a democratic state. Queues for urns in any cities were standing even until 3:00 a.m. We already know the preliminary/official results of historical elections. What do they mean and what are we going to do now?

PiS: 36.6%, KO: 31%, 3rd Road: 13.5%, Left: 8.6%, Confederation: 6.4%. The Sejm does not include Unparty Local Governmentists and Poland There is One. Here are the results of the 2023 elections in percent. What matters most is the parking tickets. These Laws receive 198, KO 161, 3rd Road 57, Left 30, and Confederacy 14. Although it is the PiS that ranks first on the podium, 3 democratic parties together won 248 seats, and so the majority of the parliament that will let them to make an opposition government. After 8 years of PiS rule, a change is coming, but not only for this reason will the 2023 elections become past but besides through evidence attendance. This year, 74% of the population voted. For the first time more women than men went to urn. Young people besides willingly did their civic duty. Voters in the 18-29 age group proved to be more many than voters in the 60+ age group.

Victory That is simply a Loser

On October 15 at 21st, erstwhile the first results of Exit Pollu were published, and along with them, a real chance appeared to remove the PiS from power, a large celebration began in the electoral staff of the Democratic opposition parties. Donald Tusk said that he had never been so happy in his second place, Simon Holovnia had announced the end of the argument and publishing, and Robert Biedron had announced that “the PiS ended today”. But not everyone was to laugh. While the leader of the Confederate, Sławomir Mentzen, from the phase with the grave face confessed to defeat and wondered what went wrong, Jarosław Kaczyński decided to choose a different strategy.

– This is simply a truly large success of our formation and our task for Poland. (...) We must hope that, regardless of whether we are in power or in opposition, this task will be implemented in different ways,” said PiS president moments after the Exit Poll poll results were announced. Immediately afterwards, people gathered in the hall began chanting loudly “Jarosław! Jarosław!”.

Like another representatives of the inactive ruling party, Kaczyński tried to curse reality. He emphasized the 4th triumph in the past of the organization and emphasized that the final results could be rather different from those polling.

Will the Law and Justice truly quit power?

Kaczyński's words caused large confusion on the web. net users began to wonder what these "different ways" could mean. Various conspiracy theories have appeared on TikTok about how PiS might effort to preserve power. These include the anticipation of martial law or force. However, as Andrzej Stankiewicz said in the post-election “Pressroom”, this is not a probable version of events. Bianca Mikołajewska, on the another hand, stressed that alternatively of the undemocratic attempts to stay in the lead of the state, we can anticipate to play on time and hinder the process of transferring power from PiS politicians.

Elections and what?

We already know that the 3 democratic opposition parties have the chance to form a common government. How do they do that? Within 30 days of the election, the president convenes a gathering of the Sejm and the Senate, during which Prime Minister Mateusz Morawiecki should resign the current government. Then the president has 14 days to appoint a fresh Prime Minister, which in turn will set up a fresh government. The fresh Prime Minister and the fresh government in the next 14 days must receive a vote of assurance from the Sejm to proceed ruling the state. If this does not happen, the right to present another candidate for Prime Minister shall be granted to Members of the Sejm.

A rational step from Andrzej Duda would be to appoint a Prime Minister who will represent the opposition. The PiS with its 198 mandates will not be able to hold its Prime Minister, as he will surely be voted by the opposition. The PiS candidate will not receive a vote of confidence. In order for this organization to hold power, it would gotta enter the coalition, but under the current conditions it will have no 1 with it. The Confederacy makes it clear that specified cooperation will not take place, while representatives of the another 3 committees in the post-election “Cash on the bench” stressed that they see no another anticipation than their joint coalition.

The appointment of the Prime Minister from PiS would so only be a game for a time that could be useful, for example to destruct documents, as Joanna Mucha of the 3rd Way suggested in an interview with Konrad Piasecki on TVN. During the same discussion, however, the typical of the President's law firm, Andrzej Dera and the PiS MP, Jarosław Selin stressed that the parliamentary customized is that the anticipation of creating a government is first given to the election winner. They thus confirmed the version of events in which the opposition government will gotta wait almost 2 months.

The next fewer days will be decisive. Even Aleksander Kwasniewski himself appealed to Andrzej Duda to elect an opposition candidate as head of government. Donald Tusk, on the another hand, admitted that he did not believe in the President's bad will.
