Meeting of the Prime Minister and the President
On Wednesday there was a gathering of the Cabinet Council, the government acting under the leadership of the President. Among others, they discussed the state of public finances, improvement investments, including the construction of the Central Communication Port and atomic power plants, and the protection of Polish agriculture. The gathering was attended by president Karol Nawrocki, Prime Minister Donald Tusk, members of his government and representatives of the President's office.
After its completion, Bogucki reported:
With respect to finance and budget issues, the president and the government stay in disagreement, so the president will be determined to ask for answers in writing, and it has been drafted. We will anticipate answers in a written expression at the President's office where these answers have not sounded or sounded to an insufficient extent.

The president's chief of law besides stated that the current state of public finances resembles the action of the "four horsemen of the Apocalypse": a advanced deficit, large debt, lower revenues compared to the erstwhile year and immense out-of-budget expenditures and resources. However, criticism did not end there. He added that the president would shortly talk to Italian Prime Minister Giorgia Meloni about trying to build a number blocking the agreement in the EU Council, requiring the support of 3 large states.
Political reactions
The mediaed part of the gathering lasted 45 minutes and generated many political comments online, in which both Tusk and Nawrocki were assessed.
Mariusz Błaszczak, erstwhile head of the MON, accused Donald Tusk of telling the truth. On social media, he stated that Tusk explained a advanced deficit of defence spending while his government allegedly led MON to insolvency, forcing the ministry to pay off the debt of the Armed Forces Support Fund from the defence budget.
Hanna Gronkiewicz-Waltz, in turn, assessed:
As I thought, the president let himself in the raspberries and repeated what his advisors gave him. I wonder erstwhile (if at all) he will become independent.
Rafał Bochenek, a PiS spokesman, commented on Donald Tusk's body speech, suggesting that rubbing the ear may indicate dishonesty, fear or anxiety, and published a photograph of the Prime Minister looking at the president with his hand at his ear.
On the another hand, KO MEP Dariusz Joński jokingly noted that president Nawrocki could be seen not only in the T-shirt but besides in short short shorts.
