The brown bio-waste bags will gradually vanish from the streets. The fresh segregation rules form part of a circular economy in which the aim is to reduce waste and reuse natural materials. Local governments are preparing to implement EU rules where each waste is to become a natural material. It's a large shift in garbage segregation. From 2026, the way biowaste is segregated will look completely different.
