– Polish forests are 1 of the most valuable assets of our country, until there is besides a reason for pride on an global scale due to the sustainable management of forests so far. This economy, based on years of experience of foresters supported by scientists, has led to an increase in the abundance of trees in forests, as well as, more measurable for average people, to an increase in the area of forests in Poland. Our country is for many others an example of how to take care of this valuable resource - we read in the letter of the Deputy talker of the Sejm to the participants of the conference. Krzysztof Bosak stressed that Polish forest and forest management of our country should be left to professionals. – Polish foresters gotta face the constraints imposed by incompetent politicians who do not support this with any reasonable justification another than an enigmatic “nature care”. In fact, their actions lead not only to degradation of the forest environment, but besides to a negative impact on the economy of our country - wrote Deputy Marshal Bosak.
The conference was organised by Krzysztof Szymanski. The event was attended by foresters, representatives of science, industry, social organizations and politicians and MPs - including Krzysztof Tuduj, Witold Tumanowicz.
