The Confederation in Mentzen's edition has 2 faces.
On the 1 hand, it is an highly liberal organization economically, even in the spirit of 19th century leseferism. On the another hand, it is simply a profoundly nationalistic and very conservative environment.
But it's hard to disagree with 1 Mentzen: If we do not reduce social spending — and radically — Poland will yet go bankrupt.
Such a script is not unrealistic.
During the regulation of the Law and Justice, social programs were exploded. Tusk not only did not halt this trend, but he continues it. Both major political forces are bidding for publishing. It's getting closer to a financial disaster.
And the fact is, where expenditure can be cut:
Arms — 200 billion
Health — 293 billion
Pensions — 406 billion
Budgetary Wages — 77 billion
Social benefits — 470 billion
Then where? Which of these positions can truly be moved without causing a political storm or social rebellion?
This is simply a question that no organization present has the courage to answer.
