The Confederation at the border with Ukraine supports the Carrier Strike

Grzegorz Braun and another Confederate activists visited the strikers on Wednesday. We remind you that the protest of Polish carriers has been ongoing since 6 November.

The talks with the Ukrainian side, representatives of the European Union, and late besides representatives of the Polish government, have failed. Polish carriers protest that transport companies registered in Ukraine have received access to the EU marketplace without having to bear the costs and requirements of companies registered in the European Union. A field of unfair competition has been created. Polish companies are incapable to compete in specified conditions with Ukrainian transport companies. The consequence is simply a drastic decrease in the share of the Polish transport manufacture in transport between Poland and Ukraine. The share of Polish carriers fell from respective twelve to respective percent. This threatens the collapse of the transport industry, which generates 6% of Polish GDP and employs a million people. This threatens many transport companies to fail.

Polish carriers have blocked 3 border crossings with Ukraine since 6 November. On 1 of them, in Korczowa, appeared Grzegorz Braun, who said, among another things, at a specially organised press conference with Polish carriers:
– We're dealing with an imbalance in the rules of the game. another rules of the game for drivers, forwarders from the entrance. Ukraine, but not only. It's easier for them. They don't have the same advanced standards to meet. They are so cheaper. Therefore, they push out of the marketplace those drivers who, on the Polish side, fight the overwhelming forces of national and euro-cohol bureaucracy. The departure of the Confederate delegation to Korczowa is besides concrete discussions with representatives of local authorities and services. Grzegorz Braun and the delegation besides went to the region Police office in Jarosław. During the meeting, questions about Police action which was contrary to the striker's findings and records of the strike study to the mayor of Radmna.

The actions of the Confederate politicians have produced concrete results:
