The Confederate won't have money to run before the next elections to parliament? On Monday, the State Election Commission decided to reject the Confederation's accounts for last year, which could mean that the right-wing organization will be deprived of subsidies for the next 3 years! It's about millions of gold from the state budget. However, there is no panic in the formation. Confederate Club Deputy Chief Michał Wawer announces an appeal against the decision and points out that the organization has adequate reserves for average functioning.
The Confederacy study for the erstwhile year was unanimously rejected by the PCC after the committee gathering on Monday. Non-approval of the paper is straight related to the rejection at the beginning of this year of the run spending study before the European Parliament elections in 2024. At the time, a number of irregularities were detected, including the acceptance of unauthorised property benefits of PLN 47 1000 and... the acquisition of alcohol for PLN 64. The liquors were to be utilized during a gathering with contractors and people from the run led.
Since that decision, the Confederate has lodged an appeal which is pending in the ultimate Court. The club's vice president and organization treasurer Michał Wawer announces that an appeal will besides be filed against the latest resolution. Despite the threat of losing millions of gold subsidies on Confederate faces, fear is not painted. Wawer stated that the party's authorities are not amazed by the PKW movement.
"We approach this situation calmly, due to the fact that we have already won with the State Election Commission before the ultimate Court in the past and we believe that this will happen this time too. Our main question mark is whether the Ministry of Finance will legally pay us subsidies now," he said.
What if this time the Confederation lost to PKW and lost over PLN 8 million? Wawer remains unmoved and claims that “it would not be the end of the world.”
“It is not that this is the end of the Confederacy, whether it will destruct us so financially or in any another sense. We have savings and we are besides ready to operate without subsidies if needed" - reassures the Confederate Treasurer.
