For the first time in 15 years, the Chinese authorities have not included fresh energy vehicles (NEV) in their list of strategical industries in the latest plan for the period 2026-2030. This decision sends a clear signal that Beijing is ready to end the era of generous subsidies that over the years have driven and created the improvement of the battery vehicle sector and led to the creation of a global power.
