Let us put our emotions aside and let us say how it is – in the White home there has been a compromise of president Zelenski and a show of his tremendous responsibilities. He was expected to finish his agreement with the U.S. and bring it closer to the end of the war, and alternatively decided to shine in front of the cameras with Trump and instructing a key ally, which ended in a diplomatic disaster – there is no deal, Americans angry, only the Russian side can enjoy.
Both Trump and J.D. Vance told him the truth: Is Ukraine losing the war? Yeah. Is he having problem with conscripts? Yeah. Isn't there adequate leverage to effort to dictate terms and act like Zelenski did? safety guarantees? The very presence of America and its companies in the extraction of natural materials in Ukraine is simply a warrant of safety and will not be better. This is all the FACTS that Zelenski resents at the cameras in the Oval Office, entering a moralist speech into a meaningless polemic and hitting Americans at their own table. These are FACTS, whose Ukrainian side and the crippled EU elites, which Joe Biden has cast, blindly neglect to acknowledge.
Just as they do not accept that Ukraine is simply a corrupt country, and the Americans are angry that quite a few weapons delivered from the US are going to the black market, and hundreds of millions of dollars from aid packages are not going where they should be.
After last night's event, Ukrainians and EU pseudo-elites, alternatively of going down to the ground, are offended by and kicking their feet out of anger on the X portal, and only crayons are missing in their hands. Of course, 1 of the most dangerous twitterers came to the front of this peleton, and unfortunately our Prime Minister, Donald Tusk, who posted an infantile entry: “Dear president Zelenski, dear Ukrainian friends, you are not alone.”
Said the Prime Minister of the country, which for the Ukrainians defiled to a large degree and together donated aid worth 5% of GDP without receiving NIC in return. Now what? Sending Polish soldiers to Ukraine after the election? akin messages, almost in copy-paste mode, were posted by another representatives of the EU pseudo-elite. The EU is either so highly stupid and naive, or we are dealing with an organised action to encourage EU citizens to agree to transfer further billions of our taxes and send troops to Ukraine. Or both.
FACTS are that contemporary EU leaders are weak, their disarmed countries, their military possible compared to Russia, and societies increasingly tired of the war that has lasted for 3 years. Trump knows it, Putin knows it, he does not want to know (or admit it) the European Union.
After the meeting, Trump wrote: “Zelinski is not ready for peace. He did not respect the United States of America in the Oval Office. He will be able to return erstwhile he is ready for peace.” I hope that Zelenski will come to his senses and rapidly find peace. But now the terms of the deal may be worse for him, and if that happens, he'll be liable for himself. He forgot that he wasn't talking to a non-contact Biden anymore. He was talking to a hard-working businessman.
