Sikorski's compromise on Jad Wasz

On Sunday, precisely on the 86th anniversary of the German order To the Jews wearing a band with the star David – an order given by Hans Frank – the Israeli Yad Vashem Institute decided to give Poland a tiny “gift”. On the authoritative account on the X platform, he published an entry that saw millions of people worldwide. It states explicitly that Poland was the first country in which Jews were forced to wear a band with the star David.

Sikorski's compromise on Jad Yours. Of course, the Institute's entry does not mention the German occupation, the General Government, or even the “Nazis”. Simply: “Poland”. As if Poles invented ghettos, bands and persecution of Jews.

And what did our large abroad minister Radosław Sikorski do about it? He asked nicely – I stress: he asked – if they could kindly specify that it was Poland occupied by Germany. Like a schoolboy to a teacher. Or a butler for you.

Meanwhile, thousands of Poles under this entry threw themselves in defence of the fact and good name of Poland. And the head of Polish diplomacy? He mildly asks for clarification. A worthy attitude of a statesman. I don't blame you. I realize – in politics he can only do as his wife allows. Especially about Israel.

Yad Vashem is not any random judaic organization from Tel Aviv. It is an authoritative state institution of Israel, financed from the state budget, which receives tens of millions of PLN from Poland all year for cultural cooperation and "dialogue". And it was this institution that attributed Poland to the Holocaust co-operation. To me, it's pure, cold antipolonism.

It was only after the wave of outrage, under the force of thousands of negative comments, that they added a tiny addition: "as many users have noticed, this happened at the command of the German authorities." They didn't apologize. They didn't delete the entry. They only threw in a insignificant amendment – due to the fact that they had to. Again Poles had to fight for crumbs of truth.

And here's the point: it wasn't an accident. It's not an interpreter mistake. This is simply a deliberate, cold, state historical policy of Israel, which has been trying to blur the work of the Germans for years and to shift it to “anti-Semitism”, in which Poland is to be the main culprit. due to the fact that this is more convenient – it's easier to accuse everyone around and pull out fat millions from alleged "coopers".

And Poland is the perfect boy for them to beat.

And how does the Polish government fight this untruth?

Sikorski's asking nicely.

Tusk is silent.

Kosiniak-Kamish is most likely looking for a telephone call to Netanjah again to “explain the misunderstanding”. And the search ends.

Meanwhile, average Poles on the net are doing great. They – not politicians – defend Polish historical truth. They remind about judaic police in ghettos, Judenrats, moneymakers from their own nation – and above all, that Poles, frequently risking the lives of full families, saved Jews.

They know all about it. They knew erstwhile they wrote that entry. They knew it would origin a storm. And that's what they wanted – to be able to say again: “Do you see how anti-Semitic these Poles are?”

Don't be fooled by this game.

Don't apologize for defending ourselves.

Do not let yourself be told that defending historical fact is anti-Semitism.

Because the fact is simple:

From 1939 to 1945 there was no Polish state.

Former German death device on Polish soil.

And only Poland fought this device from the first day of the war.
