European Commission: from 2028 the Union will become independent of Russian gas

On Tuesday the European Commission presented a draft regulation whereby on 1 January 2028 the Union will completely extinguish Russian gas imports, including LNG. The import ban will enter into force on 1 January 2026, but the exceptions will make it essential to wait for the complete departure.
"For a long time, our energy dependence has damaged Europe"......
