Colombian President: There is simply a real threat to American intervention

Following an intervention in Venezuela on 3 January, resulting in her president Nicolas Maduro, U.S. president Donald Trump stated that Colombia may be next, and Petro “must watch out for his butt.” On Wednesday evening, however, both politicians held a telephone conversation after which Trump invited the Colombian leader to the White House.
