Open letter to the General Council of the Polish People's Party, heads of structures, members and voters of PSL
My fellow countrymen,
The state should be on guard. The state should defend him. The state should be strong, like steel. So that no scum – no substance where it comes from – steals from people. It's a diagnosis, but it's besides my political commitment. present Poles are being robbed – buying below production costs is stealing from the citizen. Today, people are being robbed due to the fact that they do not get a wage to live a decent life for their work.
I am writing to you at the historical minute erstwhile Poland's village is on the brink, the achievements of generations built by their hard work are destroyed and the fruit of labour wasted. This is simply a bad time for Poland erstwhile the rights and freedoms of Poles are trampled on. Poland must yet be a country where rights and obligations are equal for all citizens.
It's time to go back to reality and bend over the specifics of human affairs again. There's no more time for half-words or half-measures. For me, the work of hands and heads is simply a measurement of human worth. This thought is for me the way to accomplish social justice: Poland without harm and exploitation of 1 at the expense of another man.
If Poland is to be built as a permanent, safe and prosperous state, it must be based on the partnership of the state with citizens, hard-working Poles. Therefore, there is no and no sovereign state without a sovereign society. Poland will only be powerful and prosperous if it is based on the work of full-fledged citizens, who will yet recognise and “recognise themselves in their being”.
And I will repeat behind our historical leader: “Our destiny is again in our hands, and it is up to us to settle. Woe to us, if in Poland reborn again take over koteria, pettyness, ineptness, pride and blindness, these symptoms of weakness and decline."
You have faced an historical chance to rebuild the glory of the People's Movement with Agrounia, rethink your mistakes, abandon your leaders and take Poland from the hands of the Law and Justice. due to the fact that Poland is coming. However, I will never agree that the People's Movement in Poland is simply a rotary appetizer. Wincenty Witos, who said that the peasant MP was to stand out against the others with a "hard, strong and combative character, [...] to meet a man who has a character after his life and work".
What bothers farmers present and destroys the achievements, including the work of them and their fathers and grandparents, is the announcement and illustration of future dramas that will affect all Poles. What happens in agriculture is the prelude to what will happen in the next sectors of the economy – that is why today's choices and decisions are so important. You can't stand with those who underestimate peasant work. I inform you personally about this – avoid working with an perfect environment.
Finally, I will callback again our historical leader Vincent Witos and the conscience of the folk movement. Let his message accompany you, "Everyone who breaks down the peasant unity crushes his strength, and whoever destroyed the strength of the people destroyed the people himself."
I am writing to you from above the grave of Andrzej Lepper, on the anniversary of his tragic death.
Let us remember forever the 1 who, erstwhile others were reversed, stood behind Poles and their rights. He was very brave, though many lacked decency and courage. He was honorable, among politicians without honor. He served Poland, although many served only themselves and large business. He was with us, we know the rules, in a planet full of iniquity and betrayal.
Give Andrew Lepper a minute of silence. He was 1 of us.
