Another FlyEye sets for the Armed Forces of Poland

The WB Group and the MON Armed Agency signed an executive contract for the transportation of respective fresh sets of unmanned FlyEye air systems. This is another implementing agreement under the framework contract, covering the transportation of over 400 sets for the Armed Forces of the Republic of Poland.

On October 24, Piotr Wojciechowski, president of the WB Group and Colonel Piotr Paluch, deputy head of the MON Armed Forces Agency, signed a 4th executive agreement for the transportation of respective Unmanned Air Systems (BSP) sets to the Polish Armed Forces FlyEye. Part of the contract will be the transmission of method documentation and repair, logistics and training packages.

The FlyEye Unmanned Agreement will be integrated into the TOPAZ Combat Management System. Automation accelerates the transmission, analysis and usage of imaging data for artillery subdivisions.

The signed agreement is simply a further step towards strengthening the surveillance capabilities of the Polish Armed Forces and filling troops with advanced equipment of Polish production, proven under the most hard combat conditions. The provision of national solutions increases the technological sovereignty of the country, and is simply a confirmation of the stable, long-term cooperation of the WB Group with the Polish defence department.

The implementing agreement concluded is the next phase of implementation Framework contract signed on 5 September 2023 during the XXXI global Defence manufacture Salon in Kielce. It includes the transportation of more than 4 100 FlyEye sets developed by Flytronic from Gliwice (which has been part of the WB Group since 2009).

FlyEye is an unmanned mini-class aircraft system, intended for aerial imaging. Thanks to interchangeable task modules, equipped with optoelectronic heads with daytime and thermal cameras, it enables effective operation both day and night, regardless of weather conditions.

The strategy was tested in practice in Poland and abroad (in Polish Military Quotas) – both by the Operational Army and the Territorial Defence Army. FlyEye is intensively utilized during military activities in Ukraine, where he confirmed his effectiveness and resilience in combat conditions.
