The president of the Republic of Poland, Karol Nawrocki, vetoed the Act of 25 July 2025 amending certain laws to deregulation in the field of energy. The task provided for a number of facilitations – from simplification of regulations and digitalisation of communication between energy companies and customers to expanding the availability of photovoltaic installations. A decision by the head of state means that there are no planned discounts for persons moving to electronic accounts and that the improvement of photovoltaics is stopped in simplified mode.
