Researchers found that the young dinosaur, whose skeleton was found in the Chinese state of Liaoning, was covered with spikes. In their view, his appendix was a unique evolutionary innovation, never seen in dinosaurs. Dinosaur was named Haolong dongi, which in Chinese means “the spineless dragon”. Scientists emphasize that by discovering that the complexity of dinosaur skin is much greater than we imagined.
