In the last “Knowledge and Life” is the article “Enriched” by Kamil Nadolski. It's worth reading.
Thanks to the Internet, it reaches young people (and not only young people) a immense amount of information, mostly insignificant. The excess of this information is blocking our brain and we are incapable to logically think or enjoy life.
The worst part is, we can't get distant with it. Cyberholism is much more hard to cure addiction than alcoholism or narcoholism.
Kamil Nadolski, unfortunately, does not give much of the way to become independent of the online world. My prescriptions are as follows:
- There should be 2 hours of math in school all day, due to the fact that it is the only subject that teaches us to think logically.
- At an older age, we have sudoku, crossword puzzles, chess, and so on.
- Let's do anything to have a garden. The weeds grow so fast that they won't just have time on the Internet.
- Every 2 weeks invitation Friends to a game of scrabble, or games like "Shit happens".
