Dear Rotarians and Dear Rotarians, I am very pleased to announce that on 21 May 2025 an crucial event took place in Krakow for our district. 2 crucial papers concerning the global cooperation of our territory were signed.

We met in the City Office of Krakow, where we were welcomed by prof. Stanisław Mazur, Deputy Mayor of the City, with whom we had the chance to talk about social issues. We must mention that Rotary is an organization known to the president and very well perceived by him.

In the second part of the gathering I signed a partnership and cooperation agreement with territory 2240 – Czech Republic and Slovakia and an agreement extending the partnership with territory 1660 Paris-Ile–de France Quest.

The Czech – Slovak side was represented by the politician of territory 2240 Josef Melecký, accompanied by his wife Mirosław.

Extension of the Agreement with territory 1660 – Paris-Ile–de France Quest signed online Nada Ghane territory politician 1660.

The aim of both papers is to emphasise the importance of global cooperation and to encourage clubs in our territory to establish contacts with rotarians from another countries. The first consequence of global action is the signing of letters of intent confirming the will and willingness to cooperate between RC Kraków and RC Olomouc City.

The letters of intent were signed by the presidents of the clubs Sławomir Podgórski and Zdenek Lenoch.

Apart from the politician of Krystyna Baj-Pawluk, Poland was represented by Past Governors Piotr Jankowski and Marek Wcisło and future Governors Greg Gregorczyk and Michał Sowa. This shows beautifully the implementation of projects and actions in the territory and the desire to proceed our ideas and ideas for the future.

Representatives of the RC Krakow club and the president of the ICC Polska – Czech Republic Zbyszek Rogowski from RC Katowice and the president of ICC Polska – France Piotr Metzler from RC Kraków were besides present.

After the authoritative gathering we had a beautiful walk in the Krakow marketplace Square with our guests and visited Collegium Maius.

Thank you very much RC Kraków for organising this meeting.
