“Gazeta Polska” club from Brazil to visit Poland. "They have reached the homeland of their ancestors" [FOTORELATION]

A twenty-one-person group of club members from the “Gazeta Polska” Club in Brazil visited Poland. During the visit they visited the most important places connected with the past and spiritual heritage of our Homeland.

They started their stay in Poland in Warsaw. In the first day program There was a visit to the Polish Parliament during which they were accompanied MP Mariusz Kałużny, as well as gathering in the Presidential Palace attended by Fr Jarosław Wąsowicz – chaplain of the president of Poland and the Clubs of “Gazeta Polska”. They besides visited the office of tv Republic, where they met with journalists of the station including president Tomasz Sakiewicz.

In the following days the guests visited Częstochowa, where they prayed in the Chapel of Our woman and visited Jasna Góra together with Jasna Góra Basilica. They then went to Kraków, where they saw, among others, the Royal Castle in Wawel and Wawel Cathedral. The program besides included a visit to Oświęcim and a visit to the Auschwitz-Birkenau memorial site. Guests besides visited Wieliczka, where they visited the Salt Mine in Wieliczka, and Wadowice, where they saw the household home of John Paul II in Wadowice.

During the full time of their stay, guests were accompanied by Klubowiczs “Polish Newspapers” from Warsaw, Krakow, Częstochowa, Oświęcim, Wieliczka, Wadowice and Piotrków Trybunalski.

The visit to Poland lasted until 9 March.
