"Today the Border defender was observing the increased activity of Belarusian and Russian drones who tried to cross Polish airspace," said Minister of Interior and Administration Marcin Kierwiński at a press conference in Lubań. He besides added that the border with Belarus would only open if it was safe again in this area.

The border with Belarus has been closed until further notice at midnight from Thursday to Friday 11-12 September. The regulation of the Minister of Interior and Administration is simply a reaction of the Polish government of Russian-Belarusian maneuvers Zapad 2025.

Closed border with Belarus. Movement suspended in both directions

The suspension of border traffic with Belarus applies in both directions and concerns both road transport and freight trains.

Within national roads exists together six border crossing points with Belarus. 4 of them (at DK63 in Sławatycze, DK66 in Polowce, DK65 in Bobrowniki and DK19 in Kuźnica) stay closed. 2 open border crossing points were closed at night from 11 to 12 September: on DK2 in Terespol (person) and DK68 in Cuckoos (trade movement). They're both in the Lublin War.

Also closed three rail crossings border for freight traffic: Kuźnica Białostocka-Grodno, Siemianówka-Swisłocz, Terespol-Brzeście.
