An ammunition orbiting the Striker that will scope a mark that is 1,000 km away. Made of carbon fibres, the ship cannon OSU-35K. Waran, an armored vehicle that can handle in any area – we start the presentation of products of the Polish defence manufacture awarded at XXXII MSPO by Defender.

For 27 years they have been awarded defence products shown at the fair, which stand out from the competition with innovation and originality. The jury, consisting of representatives of the Chancellery of the Prime Minister, the National safety Office, the Ministry of Defence, abroad Affairs, interior Affairs and Administration, improvement and Technology, Education and Science, as well as representatives of the Armed Forces of Poland and uniformed services, i.e. the Police, Border Guards and Fire Guards, decides on which solutions presented on MSPO deserve distinction.

Polish-Czech lizard
Waran is simply a vehicle powered by 4 × 4, which is the consequence of the cooperation of engineers from the capital group Huta Stalowa Wola with designers from the Czech company Tatra. The car in the base version weighs about 18 t, has a dimension of 6.8 m, a width of 2.55 m and is equipped with an engine of the T3C-928-90 Tatry with a power of 300 kW, allowing it to run on roads hardened to 110 km/h.

Not just for ships
The second product awarded during this year's MSPO is the Ship's Armory strategy OSU-35K. This solution was developed by a technological and industrial consortium composed of: Naval Academy, Military method Academy, PIT-Radwar SA and Mechanical Plant “Tarnów” SA.
Designed by Polish engineers, the weapon strategy weighs about 3 t and allows to fire over 550 missiles per minute. Importantly, thanks to the advanced charging system, the cannon operator can change the kind of ammunition fired at any time, adapting it to the target.
The OSU-35K strategy has already entered the Polish army. It was mounted on the destroyers min Kormoran II. At this year's MSPO, PIT-Radwar presented it in a completely fresh variety – as part of the SA-35 self-propelled anti-aircraft kit.
Strike far away
The last Defender award presented present is the Striker's circulating ammunition system. It is simply a product proposed by the consortium created by: FlyFocus Sp. z o.o., Metalexport-S Sp. z o.o., method Institute of Aviation Forces and Jakusz Sp. z o.o.
Made of glass and carbon fibres, the single flying apparatus has wings with a span of 5.2 m and weighs without a warhead and a fuel supply of 60 kg. The maximum burden weight (including fuel) may be 70 kg and the maximum BSP velocity is 50 m/s.
As its designers emphasize, The Striker, armed with a 40 kg warhead and fueled with fuel weighing 30 kg, is able to attack a mark even 1000 km away.
Importantly, the consortium has developed respective types of warheads adapted to this drone, designed to destruct strategical enemy infrastructure – e.g. command and communication centres, anti-aircraft systems or ammunition and fuel storage.
