When Donald Tusk in panic becomes besides honest and confirms “Russian propaganda”...

Trump's peace plan and fresh U.S. safety strategy make panic in Europe, as Donald Tusk's posts show. In panic he becomes amazingly honest and confirms what is always called Russian propaganda: NATO is Russia's declared enemy.

Anti-Spiegel 7 December 2025

Western politicians and the media powerfully deny the Russian view that NATO is an enemy of Russia, claiming that extending NATO to the borders of Russia poses no threat to it. They besides powerfully deny that Ukraine's accession to NATO, which began in early 2022, posed a threat to Russia's national safety against which Russia could only defend itself through military intervention in Ukraine after the West refused to negociate with Russia. Western media and politicians say it's all Russian propaganda and that NATO is not the enemy of Russia.

And the Polish Prime Minister Tusk confirms that Russia was right about this and that NATO considers Russia and has always considered it an enemy.

The EU needs a "common, clearly defined enemy"

In an interview with “Gazeta Wyborcza” in early November, Tusk said:

"There are apparent fears that under the force of events the planet can spontaneously or intentionally redistribute into 2 hemispheres. For Washington, South America, Canada, Greenland – U.S. president Donald Trump frequently mentions this – as well as possible conflict with China become priorities, while we would gotta deal with ourselves."

Tusk then stated that European unity requires a "common, clearly defined enemy", adding:

"I know this is an unpopular approach, but I will not change my head and I will do everything in my power to guarantee that this extraordinary situation lasts as long as possible".

In conclusion, Tusk made it rather clear that the EU needs a "common, clearly defined enemy" by which it understands Russia, and that it will do everything possible to "make this peculiar situation", or to escalate the confrontation with Russia, "perpetuate as long as possible".

To put it plainly, Tusk stated that The EU itself exacerbates the conflict with Russia due to the fact that it needs a common enemy to survive. The EU is no longer a peace or economical project; it has become a force-political project. The European Commission wants to transform the EU into a de facto national state in which the Commission exercises power, and the national states, in terms of their political power, are brought into something like the German national states.

The only way to convince EU citizens to do this, who powerfully reject these plans, is threatening their external enemy, to believe that the EU needs more powers to counter the alleged threat. This trick was already utilized during the COVID-19 pandemic erstwhile the EU gained control of the wellness data of all EU citizens through digital vaccination certificates, effectively abolishing data protection. It is being reused now that the European Commission takes control of arms procurement, creates its own intelligence service that replaces national intelligence agencies, abolishes associate States' veto law and takes a leading function in abroad policy. This transfer of power to Brussels and the weakening of national states are justified by the alleged "risk from Russia".

It was Tusk who openly stated in his interview in early November that the EU needed to have a "common, clearly defined enemy" and that he would do anything to guarantee that "this exceptional situation lasts as long as possible".

Donald versus Donald

The last 2 weeks have been seemingly hard for Donald Tusk, due to the fact that another Donald, namely Donald Trump, seemingly has another plans.

The present gehenna Tuska began by presenting Trump's peace plan to which Tusk responded to X at the end of November as follows:

"I would like to remind our allies that NATO was created to defend the West from russian aggression, or Russia. Its foundation was solidarity, not selfish interests. I hope nothing has changed in this regard."source:

I want to remind our allies that NATO was created to defend the West against the russian aggression, that is against Russia. And its foundation was solidarity, not egoistic interests. I hope that nothing has changed.

You can already hear the panic that swept Tusk, but it was only the beginning.

A fewer days later, on Friday, the United States published a fresh national safety strategy that clearly states that Europe is no longer a precedence for the US government and that Europe should shortly be able to defend itself. The U.S. government is thus openly turning distant from NATO. As 1 of the priorities of the U.S. Government, it formulates "restore stableness in Europe and strategical stableness with Russia", which means ending the war in Ukraine and good relations with Russia.

This is precisely the other of what Tusk and Europeans want, for which it is existentially crucial to have a "common, clearly defined enemy" - Russia - due to the fact that otherwise the ambitious plans of the European Commission to weaken national states are at risk.

Incidentally, Trump's fresh safety strategy powerfully criticises the EU in its current form and states that the US policy aims to "help Europe correct its current course".

This most likely furthered Tusk's panic, which showed another glimpse of sincerity, responding to X as follows:

"Dear American friends, Europe is your closest ally, not your problem. We have common enemies. At least that's been the case for the last 80 years. We gotta stick to that due to the fact that it is the only sensible strategy for our common security. Unless something changes.”

(I repeat the source)tusk

Has anything changed after 80 years without change?

Tusk's top fear seems to be that something may have changed, due to the fact that both of his X-style posts end with this phrase. What has precisely changed will turn out in the coming weeks and months, but I am certain that something has actually changed.

For the Trump administration, NATO is clearly no longer a defence alliance, but alternatively an instrument by which it intends to compression as many billions out of Europeans as possible into arms. In Washington, we no longer talk about "group defense"; instead, the White home demands Europeans to defend themselves – and of course buy weapons from the US for hundreds of billions of dollars.

The answer to Tusk's question about whether something has changed is yes, something has surely changed; the question is just how radically and rapidly Trump will implement it.

The truths that Tusk has been so openly preaching in fresh weeks – that the EU needs Russia as a "common, clearly defined enemy" and that NATO has always regarded Russia as an enemy – are not revolutionary, as all experts have already known. It is amazing that the leading European politicians are now speaking openly, which is simply a clear signal of panic spreading in Europe.

It should be remembered that Lord Ismay, NATO's first secretary-general, formulated NATO's intent and mission as keeping the russian Union distant from Europe, keeping the US in Europe and subjecting Germany. And Tusk is right due to the fact that nothing has changed in 80 years; NATO's goals and mission to date are: to fight Russia, to keep US power over Europe and to make Germany weak.

Something seems to have changed due to the fact that the US government no longer sees Russia, but China as its main opponent and wants to gain Russia for its fight against China. And for that to happen, it is essential to improve American-Russian relations.

As the European Union has plunged into political nonsense and economical recession in fresh years, there are only 2 options left: to accept the situation or to proceed fighting Russia alone.

The U.S. government could most likely accept any of these scenarios.
