

At a press conference, the Minister of improvement stated that the government "will destruct from support what is offered on the primary market". “No gold in this program goes to developers,” said Krzysztof Paszyk. If you buy houses and apartments from the secondary marketplace there will be price limits per square metre.
In case of support for the acquisition of the flat for property – only from the secondary marketplace – the price limit for the full Poland will be PLN 10 thousand, and for the 5 largest and most costly cities - PLN 11 thousand. The municipalities will be able to rise the price limit by themselves shaping housing policy, explained Paszyk.
Government's fresh housing programme
The Minister pointed out that the seller must have owned the flat for at least 5 years. “There is no way to buy an flat from a pilot,” he stressed.
Additionally, the supporter will no longer be able to have an apartment. “ The programs we are talking about are only about people who are truly looking for their first apartment,” he added.
The government wants at least PLN 2.5 billion from this year to be allocated to social and municipal housing. During the press conference, Paszyk recalled that PLN 4.7 billion was saved in the budget for 2025 to support housing.
