At least 10 students died on Thursday in a fire that broke out in a girls' dormitory in the Nakuru region of central Kenya.
Regional police on Capital FM radio informed about the tragedy. Commander Samuel Ndanyi told the station that the fire appeared at about 1 a.m. at local time (about midnight in Poland).
Emergency services began searching the destroyed school building. Among others, the Kenyan Red Cross joined the rescue.
