A disaster of peace. Review of the book “Sylvia and the Flood of the Century” by Robert Beatty [KL children]

Robert Beatty is known in Poland primarily for his teenage adventure series, Seraphin and Willa, written for their beloved daughters. The protagonist of his latest communicative – Sylvia – opens another story, presenting an interesting figure of the world, full of passion for nature, searching for his actual identity. The presence of girls protagonists in an adventure prose for children is highly comforting and attractive. But is this fact adequate to talk about a successful teen novel?
