— Regarding the PARP case. 2 weeks ago, at the end of July, I resigned the PARP chief due to inefficiency, sluggish actions, not only in the HoReC issue, but besides in another programs. I did not make this public due to the fact that I felt that they were not my intention to harm the image and individual individual who did not work in this position. This was not related to these circumstantial irregularities,” continued the minister.
— I decided that no funds would be transferred to payments to the beneficiaries until the individual agreement was audited and found to be in line with HoReC's rules," the minister stressed.
Pełczyńska-Nałęcz added that even if the funds were paid, the ministry could request their reimbursement. “This is the average procedure that we usage in the ministry all day,” she stressed.
The Minister besides referred to the fact that the wife of PO MP Artur Łącki received over a million PLN grants under the KPO, which caused outrage in the network.
— There is no evidence that European funds cannot be granted to people or families with organization cards. Human outrage remains, and my intervention is excluded, it is the worst possible practice, due to the fact that that would mean that it intervenes in decision-making processes," she said.
