On Tuesday president Karol Nawrocki begins his first abroad visit . He will meet president Donald Trump at the White home on Wednesday. This will be the second individual gathering of the Polish president with the leader of the USA. The first took place during the election campaign.
The main topics of Polish-American talks will be military and energy safety of Poland and the situation in Ukraine. The visit is at stake in strengthening relations with the US and strengthening regional security.
The president is not accompanied by the Deputy Head of the Ministry of abroad Affairs. The President's office, on the another hand, received a letter with the “guidelines” of the Ministry concerning, among others, the acquisition of American weapons and the engagement of the US in the construction of atomic power plants in Poland. The letter was assessed critically – the firm indicated that it did not contain circumstantial indications, and is unnecessary.
President Nawrocki will be welcomed to the White home about 11 o'clock local time.
