Karol Nawrocki: the EU cannot be trusted with the safety of Poland

Karol Nawrocki is visiting Brussels, where he met with Italian Prime Minister Giorgia Meloni, among others. At the press conference, the presidential candidate referred to the late passed European Parliament resolution.

On 12 March, MEPs adopted a resolution on defence. Euro MPs of Law and Justice have argued against the resolution, pointing to the harmfulness of solutions specified as a qualified majority vote on safety issues.

Mr Nawrocki besides described the EP resolution as harmful, who thanked the PiS MEPs. The presidential candidate stressed that at the present time the European Union is in deep crisis – identity and economic. Thus, she cannot be entrusted with the competence of issues as crucial from the point of interest of the Polish State as defence.
