The value of the contract then concluded was set at US$1.8 billion. The acquisition of fresh unmanned aircraft will take place on a two-track basis, they and the ground stations will be purchased from the maker and the weapons and ancillary equipment will be subject to the FMS programme. Now the Department of defence of Canada shared photos of 2 MQ-9Bs located in the production phase. Their tests are due to begin in 2026.
