In the latest public talk Marcin Celiński and Witold Bereś from the Citizen Reset comment on the current events: the absence of Zbigniew Ziobra, political performances by Konrad Berkowicz, the arrest of Father Michał Olszewski from the Profeto Foundation and the increasing chaos in the discussion about the energy safety of Poland.
Ziobro in imaginary shackles
The commentators began with the phenomenon of the "divisive minister" – Zbigniew Ziobry, who has not been in the country for months, explaining this threat from the Donald Tusk government. Leading with a wink of eyes are a imagination of the return of politics like from 19th-century drawings: chained, falling off the plane's trapeze at the sounds of Ogiński Polonaise.
This satirical image is intended to bring out the absurd communicative of the erstwhile minister's environment, in which all action of the justice strategy is portrayed as "political hunting". At the same time, the authors remind us that the real consequences – specified as the passport collection procedure, the possible European arrest warrant or the court decision scheduled for 22 December – can rapidly end Ziebra's free journeys across Europe.

The next subject was the performance of Mr Konrad Berkowicz, who, during his interview with journalists, showed a chaotic logic and interrupted all effort to ask a question. This passage of hosts comments with a large dose of satire, referring to the erstwhile past of aluminium contamination in the vicinity of Krakow and jokingly suggesting that "not all have gone through it without consequences".
In their opinion, Berkowicz came out of the conversation convinced that he had " plowed the system", although in fact the recording – which he himself published – became an example of a completely ineffective political communication. Radomir Wit, a writer who showed almost inhuman patience, was awarded the award.
Arrest of Father Olszewski and Profeto Foundation
One of the most crucial topics was information about the detention of the father Father Michał Olszewski, related to the Profeto Foundation — an organization that received huge, controversial grants from the Justice Fund during erstwhile governments.
According to the D.A.'s office, the detention is about the case. VAT fraud, and not, as the right-wing politicians say, “religious persecution” or “attackers on the Church”. Commentators ridicule the communicative in which all suspected abuse is portrayed as an assassination of clergymen, and point to a real problem: the chaotic, arbitrary allocation of public funds at the time of the regulation of the United Right.
According to Celiński and Beresia, many PiS voters present are afraid of billing, due to the fact that “very many people have benefited from this strategy in different ways over the last 8 years.”
Building pipes and myths
In the part devoted to history, the guides recalled the beginning of the Central Station in 1975, combining Edward Gierek's propaganda speech with Donald Tusk's fresh appearance at West Station. They note satirically that, although Gierek is considered a large builder, modern infrastructure investments – financed by local governments and EU funds – beat the scale of the PRL era.
In their opinion, the “game building myth” already lives more in imagination than in facts.
Coal as Dogma and Energy Fantasy
Finally, the conversation moved to the power field. The hosts discuss the words of Minister Marcin Przycz, who argued that ‘the basis of Poland's safety is coal’, until the atomic power plants are launched.
Celiński and Berez counter, pointing out:
- costs of Polish coal extraction (highly higher than the import price),
- technical restrictions — most of the Polish natural material is not suitable for modern energy blocks,
- the absurdity of presenting renewable energy as a threat to sovereignty.
Commentators gag that “the wind and the sun have our own — they do not request to be imported”.
Humor as a tool for political analysis
The full conversation, although full of sarcasm and humorous comparisons, addresses key topics: the quality of public debate, the work of politicians for words, fraud and the future of Polish energy.
