Central Communications Port won't be there. The point is not that Donald Tusk's government decided to abandon this gigantic investment, but rather unexpectedly it changed its brand. According to the Prime Minister, the task so far known as CPK is now called Port Polska. In his "style" this decision has already been commented by PiS president Jarosław Kaczyński.

“The largest airport of this part of Europe and the aviation hub will be Port Polska”, announced Prime Minister Donald Tusk on Friday. As INNPoland.pl informed, the reason for the unexpected change is to effort to erase bad associations from the past.

We will no longer usage the name our predecessors dishonored. I do not want these bad associations, these terrible facts related to this investment to follow us in a symbolic dimension, as explained by the head of government.

CPK is now Port Polska. Kaczyński: Tusk pretends to be a Polish patriot

And what about the erstwhile Donald Tusk? The president of Law and Justice Jarosław Kaczyński was asked at a press conference on Friday to abandon the name "Central Communication Port".

– erstwhile it comes to the name Port Polska, it is just a game in which Donald Tusk pretends to be a Polish patriot – he burned out the politician at the beginning. It's that kind of procedure... Besides, these linguistic treatments are besides part of the social engineering of the PO – especially now that the planet is moving a bit to the right, they are besides trying to adapt to it, but it's just a game – he continued.

– It is actually a left-wing formation, but above all a profoundly anti-patriot formation. Therefore, he conducts specified a policy as suggested by countries that simply do not want strong Poland – Kaczyński said, of course, inactive answering the question about the "Port Poland" brand.

In addition to changing the name, we should callback that the latest plans presume the launch of a gigantic investment in the areas of Branów, Wiskitek and Teresin in 2026 and the completion of it six years later. During this time, work on Port Poland is expected to consume almost PLN 132 billion.
