Kaczyński announces a fresh PiS program in October

President of Law and Justice Jarosław Kaczyński announced on Sunday in Lublin the start of work on the fresh election programme of the party. The politician announced that a large programme conference would be held in Katowice at the end of October. Kaczyński emphasized that at the centre of PiS activities there will be a "programming operation" which is to prepare a fresh imagination for Poland.

During the gathering with Lublin residents Jarosław Kaczyński reminded about the success of the organization from 2015. Then, thanks to akin actions and open work on the PiS program, she started winning in the polls.

The president of PiS referred to a conference 9 years ago, which was held just before the elections in Katowice. It was the culmination of a series of meetings with voters and experts.

Conference in Katowice in 3 months

"Today in society, or at least in its conservative part, there is simply a desire to make something new, a fresh imagination for Poland" - said Kaczyński. He announced that the first large conference would be held at the end of October in Katowice, in the same place as before.

The politician emphasized that this time the conference would not be the final, but the start of the operation. It is to prepare the program and mobilise people, showing that "Poland can be ruled differently and problems can be solved".

Polish sovereignty priority

The president of the Law and Justice Office pointed to the key problems the organization must address as part of the programme work. He was the first to mention the change of the legal strategy and constitution, so that Polish sovereignty was guaranteed "totally and unambiguously".

Kaczyński besides referred to events in the last eighteen months. He stated that "in Poland, Polish regulation of law and Polish democracy were hit massively, in a way that did not substance to the constitution and the law".

Criticism of the acquisition of public media

The president of PiS criticised the way public media was taken over by the current power. According to Kaczyński, Polish Radio, tv and PAP "were simply taken over by force, without legal basis".

The announced programme operation is to respond to these challenges and prepare an alternate to the current way of governing the country.
