The Minister of Supervision for the Implementation of Government Policy Maciej Berek presented 58 government priorities on Friday. They were grouped in 4 areas: safe Poland and safe Poles, competitive and innovative economy, efficient state and advanced quality public services and modern digital state. The plans of Donald Tusk's government were commented by PiS president Jarosław Kaczyński.
Jarosław Kaczyński at a press conference on Friday stated that "taking care of what Donald Tusk declares at a given minute is simply a somewhat barren undertaking."
Criticism of electoral promises
Kaczyński referred to earlier announcements of the government. "For there have been so many kinds of announcements over the years that I think that studying the relation between a 100 concretes and 58 goals and studying how real it is is is time lost. due to the fact that it is known that they will do nothing about it or almost nothing" - said the president of the Law and Justice Office.
He added that "if they do, it's not as they say." The PiS chief referred to the run promises of the current ruling coalition.
Accusations of Democracy
According to Kaczyński, the current government is not a democratic government. He argued that "democracy is based on a certain presumption that those who present their goals in election campaigns have the will to implement them".
The president of PiS said that "it's hard to believe that Donald Tusk believed that in a 100 days, these 100 goals would accomplish". In his opinion, the full mechanics of governing the Civic Platform is based on manipulation. "And specified governments are simply the other of democracy, due to the fact that this is simply a constant deception of society" - Kaczyński argued.
