Jarosław Kaczyński gave a speech on the 15th anniversary of the Smolensk disaster, paying tribute to victims of tragic events that took place on 10 April 2010. Of course, there was a plot.


– It's a sad day due to the fact that it's been 15 years. 15 years since the day the crowd was here. erstwhile Poland, shocked, learned and can be said, reacted as needed: unity, pain with sadness, but unity, I will repeat it again, for what happened – said PiS president Jarosław Kaczyński during the event in Krakow Przedmieście.

Kaczyński again talks about the assassination on Smolensk's anniversary


In his opinion, immediately after the crash, she was described in a "extremely lying manner" and now "every reasonable man who is not a liar is not a hypocrite" will admit that in 2010 there was a "attack".

– It was an assassination effort on 96 people, 96 people: women and men. For the president of Poland, his wife, many well-known politicians, representatives of the army, clergy, the crew of the plane. For people who just wanted to do what they should do at this point," Kaczyński says.



Andrzej Duda besides delivered a message on Thursday on the occasion of the 15th anniversary of the Smolensk disaster. However, it was not in his speech without mention to the current policy.

– I have no uncertainty that, especially in these turbulent times, we must proceed to do so. The next leaders chosen by us must unite around the priorities of the Polish state's right, which president Lech Kaczyński left us in his political will," said president Andrzej Duda on Thursday.

– During my presidential service, all tenth day of the month, the Smolensk disaster is commemorated in the chapel of the Presidential Palace. I trust that my successors will proceed this tradition – as an expression of respect for those who died – he added. Here's more about this message.

The Smolensk disaster, which took place on April 10, 2010, is 1 of the most shocking tragedies in Poland's history. As a consequence of this tragic event, 96 people lost their lives, including president Lech Kaczyński, his wife Maria Kaczyńska and the highest representatives of state and military authorities.
