On 4 August 2026, a further installment of the crisis within the Law and Justice occurred after 40 parliamentarians formed a separate parliamentary club "Development Plus". The consequence to the decisions of the politicians gathered around the erstwhile Prime Minister was the movements of the PiS organization discipline spokesman, who stated the termination of the divided membership.
In an interview published on YouTube channel "Rymanowski Live" Mateusz Morawiecki announced a plan to set up a fresh political group:
"Now that our membership is dead, that is, we have been completely removed from the Law and Justice, I can say that we will indeed establish specified a organization at the latest on October 15."
The leader of improvement Plus besides suggested that interior action be taken against him and the president of the group:
"This is the planned strategy of pushing the president, due to the fact that at the end they will come for his head, now they pushed me."
Response by Jarosław Kaczyński and exclusion of joint electoral letters
On social media, the president of Law and Justice Jarosław Kaczyński responded to the statements of his erstwhile head of government, accusing his erstwhile associate of changing political priorities and avoiding work for decisions from the period of power:
"The latest statements by Mateusz Morawiecki show clearly, the enemy for Mateusz Morawiecki is not Tusk, but me and the Law and Justice".
"Arguably Mateusz Morawiecki has a plan to search for his allies elsewhere".
"Former Prime Minister throws work for decisions made on others, frequently untrue".
The Head of Law and Justice pointed out that in the absence of acceptance for government decisions, Mateusz Morawiecki should have publically cut himself off from them or resigned. He besides referred to reports of a possible joint run at the election and assessed the condition of his interviewer:
“I hear from time to time that members of the divided association were assured by Mateusz Morawiecki that the list would be common anyway. After specified statements by their boss, it is highly hard to believe."
“I feel that the Prime Minister is in any unusual state. I besides took them during our conversations. Give God that I am wrong.”
