According to “Newsweek”, Jarosław Kaczyński planned to buy a manor home in Warsaw worth 12 million, in which the Lech Kaczyński museum would be established. Many PiS politicians were to fear that the transaction would harm the party.

The acquisition plans were allegedly at an advanced stage. The full process began in October 2024, erstwhile the president of the PiS saw the manor and chose to "apartment" in which he would live for the renovation of the home in Żoliborz. The choice was made at the Napoleonski Inn on Płowiecka Street in Warsaw.

The manor, however, was to make a museum of Lech Kaczyński, and the transaction was to take place through the Silver Company, which in late January transferred PLN 1.2 million to the account of the owners of the manor. They were to agree to a full amount of PLN 12 million.

Kaczyński, however, resigned

In addition to the building, 2 plots of 3572 sqm and 44 sqm were besides to be sold. The contract states that the property ‘is not subject to any legal, administrative or enforcement proceedings’.

Eventually Silver was to buy a property little a disputed part of land. “Newsweek” states that in the end, however, Kaczyński decided unexpectedly to retreat by Silver from the acquisition of the property.
