K9 production for Australia has started

The ceremonial start of vehicle production for Australia at the Hanwha Aerospace 3 plant in Changwon, South Korea was attended by production managers and engineers from Hanwha Aerospace, Hanwha defence Australia (HDA), as well as representatives of the Australian Capability Acquisition and Sustainment Group (CASG). According to the assumptions, the first 2 copies of the AS9 Huntsman artillery strategy (which is an Australian variant of the well-known K9A1) together with the AS10 automated artillery ammunition vehicle based on the same chassis will be built in Korea. The implementation of AS9 Huntsman will importantly increase the capabilities of the Australian Army in terms of the scope and mobility of barrel artillery.
