K. Stefanowska: Let us rebuild Poland faithful to God, the cross and the Gospel. Part 3 - religion (3)

Again, I rise the subject of experiencing the religion of our holy Catholic, but this time I would like to address the priests more. The subject of the school catechesis, which is to be limited and pushed aside and whose hierarchs (justly) are armed, is now very strong in public space. However, I do not hear the voices of the disciples themselves, who bear witness to how much spiritual lessons they have taught them in the school walls, nor do I find stories of the school conversions of those who were not on their way to church. Why?

Venerable priests and catechestes, do you preach Christ’s teaching with his power? Do you know who and why you preach? Do you explain to young people the importance of Christ's Passion, do your disciples know that without Christ they can be condemned forever? Or are you trying to “attract young people” with guitar, ice cream, “loose” lessons, talk about everything and nothing, putting aside the most crucial things? Do you have the courage of the Apostles, or do you love young people adequate to inform them of hell and to lead them to heaven against today's world, which commands, mocks, condemns them to ostracism and persecution? Jesus came to us to bring fire and sword, and around our Polish catechesis there is no fire today, there is only laughter and disregard. Did anyone ignore Jesus? He was loved, admired, but besides hated, planned respective times to kill, and yet killed, and was previously tormented inhumanely due to this hatred, but he suffered disregard only in His hometown. Didn't Jesus usage the incorrect word for us? Do we not repeat prayers and formulas from the school curriculum automatically, without genuine awareness to whom and who we are talking about?

Churches are ravaged and there are no youth in them, and why? due to the fact that present you're making sermons for children, and the kids are coming due to the fact that they can say something to the microphone, get praise, a candy, a picture... and so they come as long as there are these pictures, time flows, children become youth, and then what? The pictures are already besides childish for them, the priests are not so comic anymore, but boring and detached from reality... They realize that they have nothing to look for in the Church, especially since there are any unusual prohibitions and injunctions against what young people feel and what the planet is leading them to. So what do we do?

Venerable Priest, you are not the star here! You don't gotta say anything comic about the introduction to Holy Mass, you don't gotta preach to children or preach to people who don't know what props, you don't gotta look for a moral reminder to preach. You don't even gotta “attract young people” but you gotta do something else: Live Christ! Breathe! Give him everything, without reservation or doubt. Form yourself so that the salvation of your parishioners is not any medieval, long forgotten necessity, and the genuine concern of your heart. due to the fact that what else truly matters? You are to sow the seed, God is liable for the harvest. possibly the seed you sow will bear fruit only after your earthly eyes have closed? Your church may be devastated and nothing will change, but no substance what, your heart must change. all liturgical gesture, all word you say at the altar, the preaching of the only God, are you aware of that? Or do you execute thoughtlessly, carelessly, ignoring the liturgical rules? The words are difficult, but I don't compose them for no reason, but there's a lot you can hear and see behind the altar today. any of the blame for this is the post-compulsory liturgical reform, which has done far more harm than it seems. Have you studied the subject? Have you read it?

You know St. Pio erstwhile woke up his brother at night and asked them to leave Holy Mass due to the fact that he couldn't stand waiting for her anymore? Do you have specified zeal, specified fire in your heart? You don't? Fight for that fire, fight for that zeal! This is your task, due to the fact that our God is attractive adequate to “attract young people” and not only. All you gotta do is not effort to take his place with your ideas and point to him. He can handle the rest.
