The Lent is on, the time of deep self-work, the time of sacrifices and provisions that should change our lives permanently. Do we have specified resolutions? Do we face specified challenges? For your own salvation, for saving our loved ones, for Poland and its current leaders going down a wide highway?

The erstwhile part of my consideration was directed primarily to the priests, and present I would besides like to do so, besides due to the liturgical period we are experiencing. The large Lent ends with the Triduum of the Sacrum and Sunday of the Resurrection of the Lord and if inactive liturgy of the large Days are frequently celebrated with appropriate seriousness and reverence, so the vacation we have a week later has now become 1 large mistake.

Sunday of Divine Mercy, for this occasion I mean, has been renamed - o horror! - the patron saint Caritas, and this in the country where the holy sister Faustina heard the will of Jesus Christ himself in this matter. In this way, the day that was to be the day of beginning on the ft of the treasury of Divine Mercy became the day erstwhile we hear in sermons across Poland how much money Caritas Poland raised, for what intent and how much he conducts works. Then a can in front of the church, in which we will put more or little of a sum, and the feast “put”. Is that what Jesus Christ wanted? Or is there individual else in this full mess?

The word “sin” almost completely came out of usage today, and yet we all inactive sin. Me, you, the 1 next to you and the 1 opposite, all the people surviving on earth today, without any exception. The conscience of each of us is burdened with guilt, which draws us distant from God and distances us from eternity with Him in heaven. We are incapable to deal with this alone (no substance the amount thrown into the caritas can and the amount of conventional Christmas candles sold) and only God's Mercy can save us, we must only humbly and repent to ask for it in all God's generosity and abundance to receive it. We seldom hear it in the church today, and Sunday of God's Mercy was to warrant it, but it was besides taken from us. I ask you again, whose business is it?

If we realize these simple truths, we can go further and scope the acts of mercy we have toward scars. The deeds to the body are known to us, the can before the church in no parish will be empty. That's good, but is that all? What about deeds toward the soul? Isn't it better to starve on Warsaw Street and go to heaven than never to experience hunger and go to hell?

Yeah, we're expected to feed the hungry and the thirsty, but that's not the goal we're aiming for. The eventual goal is salvation, eternity in heaven, a goal for us and a goal we should share with others. Many saints throughout past have taken up service, work for the poor, hungry, sick, but why? To bring them to Christ! Not to just feed them. For Christ and for Him! I'm giving you this bread, though I'll be hungry myself, but you know why? due to the fact that there is simply a God, He loves you more than I do and will give you the bread of eternal life. So eat and repent to God who created you. This is the sense of material aid! This is the first step, the first bridge leading to the heart of another man, through which he can begin to hear about God, through which he can experience the contact of God. Aren't we forgetting that?
There are many works of mercy, foundations and associations in Poland present - and well. There may be priests involved, but is it to preach Christ first? To form another actives, to defender what's most important? If so, I'm fine. If not, we should remind ourselves and others that the Church of Christ was not, is not and should not be just a charity.
In order not to forget (which will unfortunately be easy) I ask that you send to your parish (it may be by e-mail, through the communicator...) inactive during Lent the word of Jesus as a reminder:

I want the first Sunday after Easter to be a celebration of mercy (Act. 299).

I want the feast of Mercy to be a refuge and refuge for all souls, and especially for the mediocre sinners. On this day are the bowels of Mego's mercy open, and I pour out a full sea of grace upon the souls that come close to the fountain of My mercy. Which soul will go to confession and Holy Communion, will be granted complete forgiveness of guilt and punishment. In this day are all the downfalls of God through which graces flow (Act. 699).

The feast of My Mercy came out of the bowels [My] for the comfort of the full world (Act. 1517).
