On Friday afternoon, the Community associate States' ambassadors approved the result of the vote on the EU-Mercosur trade agreement. Thus, European Commission president Ursula von der Leyen was given a mandate to finalise the agreement at a gathering in Paraguay. The date of signing the contract is already known.
